Bamboo Band Ring in 18K Gold with Faceted Cornflower Blue Sapphire | Handmade Botanical Fine Jewelry
A botanically inspired ring, in 18K yellow gold. The band takes its form from bamboo, with the segmented stalk and softly raised nodes that give the plant its distinctive rhythm. At the center, a faceted cornflower blue sapphire measuring 4mm x 6mm catches the light, its clear blue resting against the warmth of the gold.
Bamboo has been a motif of decorative artists for centuries. As a goldsmith and a gardener, I find the same appeal in it at the bench: a living form built from simple, repeating parts, each one slightly different. This ring is my translation of that idea into gold.
Designed and handmade by me in my studio. Slight variations in the texture and proportions of the band along with attentive hand finishing are part of what makes a truly unique piece of jewelry.

Damaged in shipping: If the item(s) was damaged in transit please notify me ASAP since a claim against the carrier would need to be initiated. If possible- I would very much appreciate that you take a snapshot or 2 of the package and item to aid my claim process.
